VELscope

We have added a new instrument to help us in detecting oral cancer and other oral diseases. It is called the VELscope VX, and is excellent for detecting mucosal abnormalities. When used in conjunction with a standard oral soft tissue exam, the VELscope VX will help us detect these harmful diseases and treat them effectively. Belize Mission Trip March 2011

     In March Dr. Green and his mission team travelled to Belize City, Belize on a week long mission trip.  Like past trips, the team did work on villagers and members of a church. However, this trip was unique in that they were providing dental care to prisoners in Belize prison as well. The inmates do not normally receive proper dental care, and it was the team's intension to provide the best care possible to these prisoners. Here are some photos from our trip.

Haiti Mission Trip 2010

     Since the early 90's Dr. Green, and various members of his staff and surrounding community, have been involved in mission work.  The trips are organized by Dr. Green and are always taken to third world countries, focusing on providing dental work to those who might normally never receive it. Past trips have included mission trips to the countries of Peru, Belize, and Haiti.

     This past year we were again blessed to be able to go on our annual mission trip to Haiti.  Some years, when political conflict has made it impossible to safely travel in Haiti, we have traveled to Belize instead. However, this past year we were able to travel to Haiti and had a wonderful trip.
